On the Rise Financial Center, in partnership with 1st Choice Credit Union, a HUD approved intermediary Home Counseling Agency, is committed to increasing homeownership, creating affordable housing opportunities for low-income individuals/families; particularly among minorities.

As a preferred counseling agency with relationships with several community partners, we offer special down-payment assistance for anyone in the general public, people with disabilities, as well as individuals working in select industries:
• Education
• Health Care
• Law Enforcement
• Military

Understanding the home buying process can be a challenging experience for a first time homebuyer. Purchasing a home is one of the most valuable investments a family will ever make. However, being more informed prior to making that purchase typically eases the home buying experience and ultimately strengthens the borrower’s ability to obtain and maintain their American dream of homeownership.
